MRA – Metal Recycling Processing GmbH deals with the issue of electronic waste in Europe. The steadily growing number of electronic devices in households also leads to an increasing volume of e-waste. These large amounts are temporarily stored at scrap yards and by recycling companies and are largely exported to other countries. Some of the e-waste is processed into PS granulate at scrap yards and exported.
MRA – Metal Recycling Processing GmbH purchases this granulate from scrap yards and recycling companies across Europe and separates it into individual components such as plastic, brass, aluminum, and copper. In doing so, we help manage the entire raw material chain within Europe. From raw material extraction to use, recycling, and reprocessing, the entire raw material cycle in Europe is strengthened, making it more independent from copper-producing regions such as America or Asia.
This also reduces the transportation distances for raw materials within Europe, as we reprocess these materials locally rather than on other continents. These individual materials are then reintroduced into the industrial raw material cycle as equivalent to new material.
